Celtic Manor, Newport, Wales

The Welsh Golfing Union, established in 1895, is the second oldest in the world. In 2010 Wales will host the prestigious Ryder Cup at the magnificent Celtic Manor, Newport City (pictured above). Although relatively obscure until now, Wales is one of the great golfing nations, with friendly, world class, uncongested courses recognised for spectacular locations and presenting unique challenges.  Here in Swansea, cliff top quality courses enjoy spectacular ocean views and offer a broad variety of terrain.
